#FiveFilms4Freedom, the world’s widest-reaching LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) digital campaign returns for a fourth edition from 21 March - 01 April 2018.

British Council in partnership with BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival are making five LGBTQ+ themed short films available for the world to watch online for free, over a 12-day period. You can watch all five films through this page.

The programme builds to a single campaign day – Monday 26 March – when people everywhere are encouraged to watch and share the films in solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities in countries where freedom and equal rights are limited.

The #FiveFilms4Freedom 2018 are:

Goldfish
Yorgos Angelopoulos's 'Goldfish' follows 7 year old Stratis, who reveals to his father that his goldfish is gay and is named after Tom Daley.
