Holiday English Courses: Easter and Summer 2026

The school holidays are approaching, and the challenge is always the same: how can you ensure your child is in a safe environment, having fun, while also learning essential life skills?

At the British Council, we have the perfect answer. Our Easter and Summer courses are designed to help your child learn English naturally through creative projects and dynamic activities.

  • Easter Courses: Two independent weeks of immersion and creativity.
  • Summer Courses: Five independent weeks to fill the holidays with quality learning and fun.

  • Our courses for younger children are based around engaging stories and exciting topics which provide our students with the opportunity to participate actively in a variety of motivating and enjoyable activities
  • Our courses for teenagers are based around topics of contemporary interest and offer plenty of opportunities to improve their language and practise speaking in English

Children are grouped by age in holiday courses. Learning activities are designed so that children with different levels of English can all participate.

Courses available at Miraflores (6 to 17 years old), Parede (4 to 17 years old), Coimbra (6 to 12 years old), and Porto (6 to 17 years old).

Our summer courses will let your child’s creativity and curiosity roam free, so they can express themselves with confidence that goes beyond their English language skills.

Young learners will work on an exciting range of practical and challenging tasks that encourage them to explore new ideas and experiences that are different from the year-round courses and school.

Children are grouped by age in holiday courses. Learning activities are designed so that children with different levels of English can all participate.

 

Courses available at Telheiras (4 to 17 years old), Miraflores (6 to 17 years old), Parede (4 to 17 years old), Coimbra (6 to 12 years old), and Porto (6 to 17 years old).
